Partnership Professionals Together

Partnership Professionals Together is a monthly share & learn network session for partnership practitioners to:

At these PPT monthly share & learn sessions, I work side-by-side with a small number of ambitious partnership practitioners discussing how they can get the very best out of their partnership working.

I facilitate a fully confidential conversation that allows partnership practitioners to share their collective experiences in a safe and non-judgemental environment; and I also share my key learning experiences (the good, the bad and the really ugly!) of working with numerous partnerships over the last 20+ years - both as a former local authority partnership manager and as an independent consultant.

At the end of the share & learn session, everyone should have:

  • Experienced at least one 'magical aha moment'!

  • Identified one or two new ideas they could test out.

  • Made some new connections.

  • Felt that they could speak freely and confidentially.

Attendance at the PPT monthly share & learn sessions is free but strictly limited to a maximum of SIX to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to fully contribute, speak freely, and share their partnership experiences and key learnings with their peers.

There is no Monthly 'Share & Learn' session in June; therefore the next one is being held on.....

  • Thursday 14 July 2022; 1200 to 1300hours BST.

PPT Feedback:

'I attended the PPT launch event very much enjoyed talking with colleagues about the types of challenges we work through every day as partnership professionals. This is a great opportunity to learn, solve everyday problems and connect with our network. This is well worth the time'!

(Marybeth Harasz, South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils)

'As relationship building to develop powerful partnerships becomes increasingly important to harness investment, commitment and support to deliver ambitious projects: the PPT forum gives those of us involved in navigating this complex space, the chance to share experiences and gain insights from our peers; while getting inspiration and confidence to use more creative ways to build partnership trust and unity of vision'.

(Suna King, New Milton Town Council)

'I attended the PPT launch event and found it both innovating and captivating to be part of a small, like-minded, group of attendees, all there to discuss the positives (and negatives) and pitfalls to avoid, or deal with, in partnership working.....BUT, you’ve got to be part of it (the PPT) to really see the full benefits of its value and worth, and how it can contribute to your own learning experience and self-development'.

(Jane Swann, Surrey Heath Borough Council)

'I found the introductory session really helpful, providing a structured space to reflect on the intricacies of partnership working, whilst extending my network with those who are as passionate about securing opportunity for partners, stakeholders and the wider community'.

(Emily Cockle, Emily Consultancy Ltd)
